Call for International Volunteers

“Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center (HFC) is looking for 3 highly motivated international undergraduates or graduates (20-30 years old) interested in working with unaccompanied minors, fostering their social inclusion in the local community, and assisting them in their daily life.

Volunteers will be deployed to private HFC shelters for unaccompanied minors in Larnaca (Cyprus).

The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) project “Youth for Hope – Humanitarian Division” will engage volunteers in a multilevel, multidisciplinary and interactive work. Their day-to-day tasks will focus on administrative activities, day-to-day care activities for shelter residents, promoting the inclusion of migrant children in schools and Cypriot society, and supporting the implementation of EU projects and non-formal education activities at the Nicosia and Larnaca shelters. The program lasts 12 months, including 1 month of adaptation and 11 months in which volunteers will have the opportunity to specialize in one of the departments of the Humanitarian Division: Social Work, Child Protection and Psychology.
