New services for children offered in Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos Districts

“Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center (HFC) organized a Press Conference in order to officially announce the expansion of premises and services offered by the organization, in Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos districts. The Press Conference took place at the Cultural Center of Hellenic Bank in Limassol, on April 17th. The Conference was attended by Members of the Senior Advisory Board of HFC, Municipal Counselors of the Municipality of Limassol and representatives of institutions and organizations.

Ms. Emily Yiolitis, member of the Senior Advisory Board of “Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center gave the opening speech. During her speech Ms. Yiolitis pointed out the importance of the expansion of the organization which aims to be next to every family in need. Through the physical presence of the organization, not only in Nicosia, but now also in Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos, the access of the target group to the services offered is facilitated. Such services fall under the context of the operation of the Children’s House, the Foster Care programme for children under the care of the Social Welfare Services, as well as other activities addressed to children and youth.

The Director of the Humanitarian Division of Hope For Children Ms. Andria Neocleous, presented the programs and services offered by the organization and the cooperation with the competent authorities and other organizations based in Cyprus and abroad. At the same time, Ms. Neocleous referred to the specialized staff members who implement the activities of the Organization in all districts of Cyprus.

Finally, the Director-General of “Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center, Mr. Joseph Borghese, referred to the aim of the Pancyprian presence of the Organization and pointed out the necessity of the implementation of programs and services towards all children who live in Cyprus and who are in need of help. According to Mr. Borghese this will be achieved through the support and cooperation of the local authorities and the local communities in each District.
