Code of ethics and Conduct for Child Protection Professionals

“Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center (hereinafter “The Organization”)

The International, Humanitarian and Independent Organization ‘’Hope For Children’’ CRC Policy Center follows the international, European and national legislation and guidelines regarding adults working with children. Achieving the humanitarian aims of the Organization depends on the credibility and reputation of humanitarian work, which is shaped by the collective conduct of the staff involved in it.

The Code must be embraced and upheld by the staff/associates/volunteers (referred to as ‘the team’ in this document) of the Organization. Without violating the Code, each team member also supplements the values and rules specified in the Code based on guidance drawn from personal values, culture, and experience. In case a difficult situation or ethical dilemma arises, employees should consult colleagues with greater expertise or experience and make decisions based on the best interest of the child.
